Meet the Mets

The Mets have hired Hensley Meulens to serve as Carlos Beltran’s bench coach.

Robinson Cano praised Beltran as a “great hire” for the Mets.

Scout Jon Updike is leaving the Mets for his new role as President of Digital Scouting and Player Development Solutions at BaseballCloud. Updike signed both Pete Alonso and Matthew Allan while working with the team.

The Mets will be hosting their inaugural FANFEST at Citi Field on Saturday, January 25. Tickets go on sale on December 3.

Major League Baseball will honor an “All-MLB Team” which highlights the top players at their respective positions. Four Mets have been nominated: Alonso, Jacob deGrom, Seth Lugo, and Jeff McNeil.
