Yankees news: Cuomo gives teams green light to hold spring training (Pinstripe Alley)

CBS Sports | Dayn Perry: The journey towards baseball returning took another step on Sunday when New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gave the go-ahead for the Yankees and Mets to hold spring training in the state. We still don’t know when a potential season will begin, but things generally seem to be trending in the right direction. It seems like the team will head back to Florida for camp, however.

New York Post | George A. King III: Estevan Florial went into the 2018 season as the Yankees’ top prospect and a top 50 in all of baseball according to several outlets. However, injuries have held him to just over 150 games across the 2018 and ‘19 seasons, and he’s fallen in pretty much all rankings. During this season delay, Florial has used this time to pick the brains of several notable Yankees including Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, DJ LeMahieu, and Miguel Andujar.
